Sony is making the rounds on their APS-C lineup in 2018, having a stellar year in 2017, one would have thought that they would be announcing either a new A7III or A7sIII camera body. The APS-C line up is staying strong though, and just like the A6000, Sony is giving the A6300 a new finish – Silver. Aside from the color change, the camera is the same as the previous models and no new features have been announced.

What most people are talking about though is the lens that was announced with the camera body. The brand new E-Mount 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS, a wide-angle to medium telephoto range, it is a versatile 27-202.5mm equivalent zoom for APS-C-format E-mount mirrorless cameras. With an Optical SteadyShot image stabilization system, which minimizes the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting and a linear autofocus motor, which delivers quick and accurate focusing performance that is also quiet to suit video recording applications. Balancing with the handling attributes, this lens also sports an intelligent optical design that uses both extra-low dispersion glass and aspherical elements to control spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity throughout the zoom range.
